I think it's about time for this fanon idea (okuu = durr) to, I'unno how to call it, surprise people for the unexpected like most other fads have been called for in Touhou.

Too bad its canon that she's kind of dumb (not as dumb as portrayed here but she is dumb except when it comes to nuclear physics, and that may just be a side effect of her powers).
To be fair, she's not the only one who gets this treatment. The "Strange and Bright Nature Deity" manga shows us the Three Michievous Fairies and even Cirno are actually fairly intelligent, just limited by their childish mindsets (they are intelligent compared to small human children) and most of their intelligence tends to revolve around their powers (Cirno knows lots about ice-related natural phenomena for example).
