It's more or lessconfirmed. In ep7 shannon/kanon is made up by a person named yasu...the baby from 19 years ago.
Guys, this is the story of the Witch of Miracles. It was already stated that "without love, it can't be seen." The entrails of the truth does not make for the Truth itself - spoilers or not, all we're truly seeing is the most cynical, most pessimistic analysis of it.
It certainly doesn't explain why Battler would be willing to take up the game in Beatrice's place.

Just because it's Bern's game doesn't mean we can't trust anything. A lot of the logic behind the truth in this episode makes a ton of sense. Plus, there's no way Ryukishi would release an entire game full of lies this late in. Obviously, it isn't the full truth since Bern's game is without love, but this episode definitely has the most answers so far.
There's definitely truth to this particular game, but WHICH PARTS are true remains to be seen. Keep in mind that everything you accept as true without the red text, you're taking on the good word of a capricious, amoral, and profoundly cruel witch.
