...That...Chen face in the last pannel...
I cannot unsee the monkeys in Ape Escape in that face. I just can't.

This is based on a very retarded Finnish meme born of a Youtube video of two (drunk) guys ice fishing. It makes absolutely no sense outside the Finnish internet culture, so I never uploaded this despite it being one of the first ones posted. Not going to translate it, I'll leave it to the uploader. But rest assured it's not going to be very funny or make any sense at all.

Dude, this is funny! Chen's reaction makes sense now!
You should definitely upload all of these comics, never mind if they're based on memes or whatever.

Browsing Danbooru to learn about my own country's online culture again... XD
Selected translations (rather free, trying to give the feeling of it) of lines in the original video to further entertain (?) Nana and Fred:

Call me ignorant but is a two-kilo whitefish rare? I'm only familiar with local fish in my area.
Katajanmarja
All I really know about whitefish is that properly smoked and salted it tastes delicious.
Taking a look at the Finnish Wikipedia, it seems that the Coregonus lavaretus species is divided into several different forms. Of these, the fastest-growing one found in Finland usually reaches the mass of 1 kg around the age of 7 years. While much bigger whitefish have been caught, I suppose 2 kg would be a somewhat rare occurrence -- perhaps even more so in the specific area where Tuoppi is filming the ice-fishing efforts of his friend.
The fair amount of booze Tuoppi has consumed raises the significance of the catch, of course.

You know, that's pretty much the same way I reacted when I first caught a fish, and I wasn't even drunk. Not to mention the fish was some scrawny Mediterranean sea bass instead of a glorious KAHEN KILON SIIKA!

All I gotta say is, it's way funnier than double rainbows.
