"Angels are one of my favorite themes, even though the wings(feathers, to be exact) are a pain to draw. I'm not a very religious person, but the spiritual world, as well as mythologies and legends, interests me.
The subject in this particular drawing's a dark angel, a fallen angel who'd fought against God's army and lost. What's tragic is that she was tricked by another dark angel to fight against her will. She's been confined in purgatory, waiting for the day of salvation.
Or at least that's the story that popped in my head as I was putting the finishing touches to this drawing. I didn't put much thought to this piece in the beginning, but sometimes ideas for a story come up as I draw."

So what happens on the day of salvation?
Mercredi
Well, if she's already in purgatory, she'll be saved/taken back to heaven.

In the standard Christian belief structure salvation comes from faith, angels being able to actually interact with God would have a knowledge of him, therefor could not actually have faith. Faith by definition is believing in something without proof. Therefor angels cannot earn salvation, there would be no chance for redemption for a fallen angel, only judgement.
