Illusive said: silver cross on a vampire, thats a rare sight.
Almost none of the usual "vampire deterrents" work on Remilia or Flandre. Both love cross imagery, garlic, and don't seem to mind sunlight, water or silver all that much. Actually, they are weak to the same stuff as the Oni, probably because Japanese mythology categorizes them as a subspecies of these.

Actually...
based on the conversation marisa and Remilia have in EoSD,Remilia has a million weaknesses just like any vampire in lore
They probably just aren't the 'burn to a crisp' kind of vampires and more the 'lose power' kinda of vampires. It's not as if they're in any danger.

Exactly. In fact, sunlight merely bothers/weakens Remilia and Flandre (Yorihime summoned freakin' Amaterasu herself and had the SHinto goddess of the sun blast Remilia with a giant burst of sunlight and it merely knocked Remilia out for a minute or so). On the other hand, running water is actually enough of a deterrent that they have Patchouli summon rain whenever Flandre goes stir crazy to keep her in the mansion. So while sulight simply weakens or annoys them depending on its severity, running water actually causes them pain (though it wouldn't kill them). That's why Remilia had Sakuya go out and look for suspects during Scarlet Weather Rhapsody instead of going herself. With the crazy weather Tenshi's mist created Remilia couldn't go out herself or risk getting caught in a sudden downpour.
