    Yet not weird enough. There's probably an explanation for this, and the only thing I can think of is that one doesn't make friends due to long life, and the other doesn't make friends due to not leaving the mansion.

    If I remember, it's because of the fanmade Touhou card game (Rumbling Spellcard Orchestra) I think. Mokou and Patchouli make a good combination in the game, and that is where this line of art started from I believe.
