They might just want attention. Or, are being silly. Also, it is a shame the Patchouli cat has an close-up instead of a full body view. She's cute, nevertheless.

Cats in groups tend to react the same way to any given stimuli. This is most obvious when a group of cats follow the sight of a toy back and forth. Tilting of the head suggests that a faint sound has been heard and the angle of the ears are being adjusted to hear it better.
