The fact that she apparently brainwashed Daiyosei without her consent passes the Moral Event Horizon somewhat. Ya Dai didn't want to fight Cirno but doesn't mean that Satori had to do what she did.
She could've have fought Cirno herself while sending Dai out to hold against Wriggle.

Worthless no-name mid-bosses without an official profile who don't want to or can't fight in the event they should face their friends or family shouldn't enter fighting tournaments. They're a burden and force awesome characters into making difficult choices due to their dead weight.
Because she's so weak and of little consequence to Touhou, Satori would've had to fight one on two anyway, since Daiyousei as your partner is as good as nothing at all, but at least the brainwashing gave herself half a chance to win and possibly would've forced Daiyousei into moving past her limits and hang-ups and being useful for once. That is, if she hadn't been such a cliched friendship loving wimp who doesn't understand that danmaku is just a game, and should realize that Cirno would be her friend regardless, and would even welcome such a fight, if someone as pathetic as Daiyousei were ever willing to do so, anyway.
I hope Cirno and Wriggle get eviscerated next round while Daiyousei has to live forever with the shame of holding Satori back.
Seriously, though, BS fight progressions and for some bizzare reason trying to make Satori a villain has dropped this entire series into unwatchability for me. I certainly won't read any further Tora Tooru work.

Care to explain how this is "BS fight progressions"? All three matches had at least somewhat of an explanation as to why they won so far (Better teamwork/tactics, better use of powers, pre-match plan backfiring turned match into a handicap; most of which being a lot better than some explanations we get with comics such as TTD.

Such as Sanae Yamato's wins? I can see Suwako winning the match for them, not so much the newbie booby Miko. And Tora Tooru gets respect from me due to how he didn't make Meiling a joke.
I'm with SriderTuna on this one. Meiling is always a joke destined to lose and Cirno is always the wakest cjaracter out there. I find it interesting to have things going differently for once.
It's difficult to try and read through someones plan when they don't have a plan to begin with
