Unlikely to be AI, looking at the artist and the work itself.
Yes, the penis isn't drawn. But I don't think that is a clear indicator that this is AI. More glaring red flags for me would be obvious anatomy or proportion mistakes while ALSO having a very high level of render that is characteristic of AI and usually takes human artists hours upon hours to do by hand. This is very clearly just a sketch. There's literally only a rough lineart here with colors blocked in very rough shadows/lights blocked in, in one or two tones each as well.
While it is also possible to go through the effort of faking sketches, that is not what mainstream and easily accessible AI tools are doing; going by what is available on the front pages of related sites.
Furthermore, waero has been a very prolific artist and animator for years before the advent of AI.
There is a gray area to this where people can't for sure tell the difference, and it will vary depending on the person's own eye for it as well as the artist's track record. Whether that gray area increases with the development of AI or not, it's still there more or less. And if people are overzealous in their efforts against AI that they overcompensate by pushing the boundaries of their gray area, then they're just going to be red flagging legitimate artists left and right.
Then what is that gray part of the dick supposed to be? It just melts into the shirt. That doesn't sound like "isn't drawn" to me. It definitely was drawn, and colorblended in a real odd way.
Is that supposed to prove something? The original tweet is deleted, so we can't even see what that's in response to, or how it proves that AI definitely wasn't involved. It doesn't address the most obvious thing wrong with the piece.

I believe waero more than you. The artwork doesn't event look like an AI piece as a whole, if there was an AI element to it. It would be ai assisted at least. Artist didn't draw the penis and all of a sudden his art got tagged as "AI generated". This will be re approve soon

I've seen Waero "not draw" a penis before, it never looked like a common AI mistake. It doesn't even look like it would fit within the composition if it was fully drawn. It looks like it should be pressing into her right breast, and at the size he draws them that's just not possible. If it's supposed to extend in front of her face, he did a terrible job communicating that.
So what do you think that gray part at the end of the dick is supposed to be, then? It can't be part of the shirt, the shape of her shirt doesn't support that.

Why are so you focused on that dick part? Does that make the whole art an AI Gen? I will tell you this. Waero will do different animated versions of this and someone will up all of those. This one is the parent so it doesn't matter if this gets deleted. Your argument doesn't event matter at this point. If you are still mad about it. Flag all of it and move on

Because it's the part that actually needs explaining. It's the most striking evidence that AI was involved. And Waero isn't arguing that AI wasn't involved, he's arguing that it wasn't generated, which would mean he's lying about it being assisted. I happen to care quite a bit if an artist I've supported monetarily is lying about using AI.
Waero is a good artist, this is a weird mistake for him to make, and his only explanation is "I didn't draw it" which doesn't explain why it looks the way it does. He didn't make it invisible, or cut it off, he made half of it disappear behind her fingers and the other half blend into her shirt, which is not something I've ever seen him do before. It stands out way too much, and all of his responses to questions are just deflections.

Dude, I feel like he's just telling a joke?? Paraphrasing here but "Why's the penis fusing with the shirt?" "It's not, I just didn't draw the penis 🤣." Even laughed at the end. Maybe it's fused because it's an extremely early sketch? This is probably going be on of those gif series he makes. And if it is ai helped why would he touch up everything BUT that, since everything else is anatomically fine and looks exactly like his style. If it's too sus just flag it and don't support him.

I'm not saying I know 100% for sure whether a piece is AI assist or not, but from the artist POV to have to defend the legitimacy of their sketches the situation is ridiculous. And like... waero as an animator would be one of the last ones I would point a finger at unless really damning evidence comes out.
As for the dick in the picture, yeah there's a bit of a tangent with the white that makes it look a bit fused or weird which is a bit reminiscent of how AI sometimes fuses objects. But seeing as usually some of these pieces become animations later on, it wouldn't be a stretch to say everything is probably organized into separate layers and he probably just masked some of the male character that was overlapping with the girl to showcase more of the female character?
Isn't everyone ignoring the fact that the table is also intentionally not being drawn here? There's a cup being poured into where the surface of the table would be, but it's omitted so we can see the girl. She's under the table, but we couldn't otherwise see her from this POV above her. In that circumstance it wouldn't at all surprise me that the penis is likewise intentionally omitted. It'd also obscure the girl. I don't think this is AI generated.

That's not what's happening. There is no table, invisible or otherwise. That "cup" is a trashcan on a string. It's also mentioned in the commentary, if you need more proof.
If someone wants to decide it's not AI and reapprove it, that's fine, but not so much if it only got approved because someone completely misunderstood the composition of the image.
Didn't expect so much drama over a vanilla hentai image. Some of you people really need to chill out and step outside, you've taken something simple way too far.

People being r/art moderators whether this is AI or not... expect petty cucks like these to go full drama even if they are completely wrong.
This artist is known to post his WIP teasers before 'releasing' the completed art/animation either directly or on their Patreon, and explained both that this is not AI generated, and that he just didn't draw the penis yet - you can just look at the image a bit and see that this is still a rough sketch, with messy line art, and flat colours.
Doesn't matter their history, some of the renown artist are caught using AI for their artwork
Clearly you didn't check them enough. Waero has been posting art before even AI art was a thing, and they even do animations and posted psd files on their Patreon. They even posted WIPs before posting the finished ones, even animated WIPs.
