I did some research in the past about Buddhism, and these symptoms share some similarities with the Five Signs of the Dying Deva/Celestial (also a Youmu Spell Card!): 1. Their clothes are able to get soiled 2. Flowers worn on their person start to fade 3. They start to sweat a lot 4. The body loses its healthy colour 5. They become restless in their seats
Even though celestials may live in the heaven realm, they are not immortal and are still subject to the Buddhist cycle of death and rebirth. 4 of 5 signs doesn't bode well, but maybe it's just some fluke combination of a cold + radiation posioning.
Well, in Gensokyo celestials only die if they can't defeat the shinigami sent to collect their soul. Knowing just who that shinigami is I think Tenshi still has a long life ahead of her.

Chireiden is an abandoned, cast-off part of hell. It's just a bunch of underground caverns now, with new inhabitants. (For a very old sense of "new", since it happened a long time ago.)
