No. This is Sig 556, chambered in 5.56x45 NATO/.223 Rem.

Battle rifles are chambered in full power cartridges
such as 7.62x51 NATO/.308 Win, .30-06, 7.62x54R etc...

Actually, that looks a bit too long to be a 556. The heatshield isn't correct for a 556 either. I'd say a 550, personally.

No it's a DMR. It's a SIG SAPR, the 7.62 NATO version of the SIG 550. You have to look at the magazine. It is too big for 5.56 NATO. Furthermore there is that lip on the lower handguard.
