Usually I don’t bump my comment because bumping imply that the comment is of significant thing. But checking the no-bump box eventually become hassle. If there is setting so comments can be set to not bumping by default you will see less of these. -1 in 8 hours, thanks for proving my point
Last time I checked you can comment only twice every hour. If you are that lazy to mark a checkbox form and press the "Submit" button, you should be lazy enough to not comment at all.

That was changed years ago. Otherwise we wouldn't regularly have to deal with people bumping 20 posts in an hour with annoying "nice" comments.
Also, what do spammers have to do with a default No Bump option? If they're not bumping posts, they're not spamming. What doesn't make sense is anything you ever say, including this.
Is there any way to set your comments to actually be relevant to the artwork?
Or do that still get downvoted anyway because people don't like it?

If a comment found by people who have no business seeing it in front page it attract unwanted attention.
