man they're really going all out with the Touhou mobile games. How many of these are there now? Also are any of them good, or are they all gacha drivel? (let me guess....)
You talk as if any Touhou game are actually really good. Character design and (maybe) music are their good points, but anything else is half baked (great enphasis on drawing skills). What made Touhou great is the community, fixing everything ZUN can't because he's only a man that has limits.
Today exists diverse communities picking their favorite characters from big companies following what Touhou pioneered. It's also normal for Touhou to keep relevance by picking popular platforms (like mobiles) and mechanics (like gatcha) too. I don't see any surprise in Touhou turning into modern practices unless you expect it to be forgotten by new generations.

Alright, alright, maybe I should have asked "Are any of them ANY good?"

Not really, outside of being basic time wasters. I tried really hard to like Lost Word but it's just not... good. Don't get the hype but hey, I'm not Japanese
rom collector can you just shut the fuck up about your Touhou hate boner? If you don't like Touhou and its community, then fucking stop engaging with it.

I thought the gameplay of Lost Word was alright on a fundamental level, enjoyable as far as mobile gacha games go, but I despised its approach to monetization, and the EN server being yet another "we need to hyper pace everything to catch up with JP at the expense of our playerbase" situation made me drop it after a month. Example: Super OP limited "Red Marisa" released 6 months into JP, while EN got her after one month, and I never saw any warning about it until right before she released. Get fucked F2P players, even if you knew she was coming that early, you'd never be able to prepare for her if you also wanted to comfortably clear the first events. Also, more of a personal pet peeve, the characterization leans a bit too heavily on memes and fanon, especially out of date things, like Meiling being the most incompetent person in Gensokyo and the butt of every joke.
Cannonball was a novel concept, but was horribly balanced, and contradictory to the usual mobile game design required you to spend as much time in a single stage as you possibly could (usually between 30-60 minutes) but being a boardgame with RNG meant you could lose at any time to the AI getting lucky rolls, or accidentally win earlier than you wanted to, "wasting" energy so to speak. Only played that one for a month as well, it was honestly exhausting to play. Characterization was even worse than Lost Word, leaned real hard into waifuism.

I would when you stop picking fights with everyone, something that even moderators won't do and have a right to do so, "builder".
Besides I didn't say anything bad about Touhou. ZUN is human and mortal, not a god that can make alone every aspect that involves a fandom perfect. If you feel a description like negative feedback, the problem is yours not mine.

You literally insulted the games and their creator, claiming the fans needed to "fix" things because only one or two aspects of the franchise aren't objectively bad. And did so unprovoked, without answering the original question, because it was just an excuse to not so subtly remind everyone how much you dislike the copyright.
You have no reason to be part of this discussion, or any Touhou discussion, and only ever show up to claim Touhou is dying or present insults veiled as some objective truth, that are never remotely relevant to what's actually being discussed.
We all know you only comment to annoy people, you've been doing it since 2009 and have gotten 4 negative records for your shitmongering.
While I really don't like Arcadia Record for many of their shady history, I admit that the ads is really something... yeah it's something that will stuck for a while.

I do have a reason. I'm part of this community, this picked my interest and this popped up into the comments section. You have no right to boss people around about what they can post or not, neither the privileges. If you are so fragile about a personal opinion you may as well ignore it. I originally came here because of Touhou, I do not dislike it. I can also make a critic too because contrary to your belief that's allowed and valid. I don't see any insults either, never called names at ZUN or Touhou, only describing what is happening without pink glasses.
Besides look at who posted the negative feedback, they are worse than whatever I could have unintentionaly done once in a while. Flooding the comment section with copy-pasted information searched from Google or throwing tantrums about opinions they dislike, I could not care less about their "pot meets keetle" views, including yours. I replied because you directly asked. If I cared about negative feedback I would have closed this account and created a new one long ago.

All Touhou games are bad because ZUN is a hack
Never said that. The question was if there were any good smartphone Touhou games, my answer was they weren't just like also there are "not really good" (i e. not bad but not that good) official ones. Maybe you need some lecture comprehension or anger management lessons.
Most of the Touhou fandom was built from specialized people at design, literature, programming and music. Most haven't played the official games either and you know it. There's nothing wrong to acknowledge the strong and weak points ZUN has. It's called being partial and thinking with a cool head.
It originally released as an illegal knockoff with blatant touhou characters that were either renamed or recolored in order to avoid copyright, game was also filled with extreme p2w mechanics like a vip system. Game shut down in less than a few months and was aquired by klab who now had a license to distribute touhou works and overhauled the previous bootleg game. In my opinion the game of the past doesn't represent the current game that is out and should be seen as completely different work.
That's literally you. Even if you wanna argue that's not what you were saying, it's still not a relevant response to the simple question asked.

Grade A bullshit. You said nothing about the mobile games or their quality. All you did was imply a false equivalency. The question was "Are the mobile games any good?" An actual answer would be, "No/Yes, here's why." Instead, your answer was, "The official games aren't good." which has nothing whatsoever to do with the mobile games, and then went on a tangent about how Touhou needs to get into mobile games to maintain relevancy. At the absolute most, it suggests a correlation that just doesn't exist. At worst, you're just trying to rile people up, like you've been doing, and admitted to doing, for years.
Your entire original comment was a non sequitur. Whether or not the official games are good, which is an opinion, has zero bearing on whether or not the mobile games (which ZUN has no involvement in beyond greenlighting, which is probably handled by his legal representative and not himself anyway) are any good. You made no attempt to provide a sincere answer, and just went off on your typical "Touhou sucks and is dying" rhetoric that no one ever asks for, because it has nothing to do with the discussion.
How could anyone assume anything but that you're just looking for an excuse to spew your bullshit "criticisms", when you only ever share them in the most irrelevant ways possible? And you can whine all you want about how I'm "bossing" you around, but as much right as you have to say your obviously intentionally inflammatory bullshit anytime someone tries to talk about Touhou, I have just as much right to tell you to shut the fuck up. Whether or not you do so is your own prerogative.

I'm OK with you understanding your own words for good. I would not stop a public opinion because you say so. You can't boss me around, yet you try to boss everyone around when you are not an authority. I think there's a girl name starting with K that describes this situation perfectly. Now excuse me while I allow myself from ignoring your whining and confrontation meetings to other users as always. Right before you directly asked for an answer here.

Just some more addition, that KLab did made one before which still had many stolen assets and plagiarism of artists' work without permission. And then that game went into silence, only to resurfaced again as Arcadia Record, luckily this time they do have permission for all work they used in-game. Although, the Ads are suspected to actually be made for 1st KLab's version (such as Shinra-Bansho's MV for AR which only have up to WBaWC cast) but this is just minor nitpick.
Overall tho, many including me do not have much of expectation with the game because of those incidents. But as said, what they do now? Yeah it's good. I would just never going to play the game because of bad taste left in my mouth. But if you want to play? Go with it.
