WHY are there no Touhou horror games out yet? Doens't make any sense. Especially Fatal Frame/Project Zero, which would have Aya and Hatate as playable chars.

Because how do you make horror out of Touhou? WITHOUT using any fan-made stuff (yukkuris etc)

Fatal Frame did it with ghosts (Fatal Frame III's strolling grandma was hellova scary when met even though its a freaking grandma)

I'd say with enough lighting and shades, a ghost version of Flandre baring down on you is quite scary

Don't forget to turn off Moe-vision as well. Fanon has done done that for alot of the touhou fanbase. Especially people that haven't/choose not to' read the canon material, they seem more prone to it as well.

It's not the ghostly appearance that scary, it's her drooling in hunger while looking at you that's horrifying!

Player character would have to be Youmu! Perfect fit, being scared of ghosts, though it'd tone it down a bit for a half-ghost being afraid of real ghosts.
