All right, bit of an odd request here, but does anyone have any pics where we see a harpy/bird girl (who's wearing what seems to be at first glance clothes that cover the majority of her body) from behind? I've always wondered how the clothes on their back are tailored to manage for wings and tails.

I'm beginning to suspect, that they're some sort of magical wings, that simply noclip through any clothes the girls happen to wear. Otherwise, the shape of their clothes simply make no sense whatsoever.

Yeah, that's usually my assumption, as well. Either Magical "no clip" or some kind of magical "bio-aura," that allows their wings and the like, to manifest upon their clothes. Hassel free.

Looking at other pictures, it generally seems that the wings + tail come out at the lower back, and looking at other art that feature back shots confirms this, it seems that they are attached just above where the lower spine connects to the hip. I suspect that their upper clothes might just have slits cut into/segments cut out the back for a more comfortable fit.
That said, there are a few pictures where Asterisk Kome has drawn them mid back or even higher, and this is definitely one of them. And the only way her uniform jacket would work in this picture was if it was backless.
In fact, this whole drawing is just off. Asterisk's Winged Fusilier drawings usually have the Winged Fusiliers being noticeably lean, and a face that generally gives the impression of "bird". I'm not really seeing either from this picture, and the wing misplacement isn't helping either.
