Not at all, hell, Yaranaika is a worse translation. It's not as bad as "All according to Keikaku*," but the purpose of translation is convert a message into readable form in another language without a person having to know the original language. Requiring one to know a particular reference or leaving an obscure reference intact with directions as to an explanation is just laziness and is giving the reader too much work.
Yes, I often do bad translations. But those are from my personal lack of fluency which I am working on. But one should try to be as professional as possible.
