Just noticed something here. Tokai Teio is going through the typical dressage movements, basically the horse equivalent of dancing. Racehorses are terrible at this, since they are bred and trained for speed and stamina (it would be like asking an athletic runner to perform gymnastics), but the real-life Tokai Teio was known to be very good at dressage.

And "Teio Step" is also the name given to the IRL horse's moves. The series put in a surprising amount of references to their real life counterparts.
