Hmm... let me get this straight... TV Wing Zero and Endless Waltz Wing Zero are the same machine, just portrayed differently (with different designers) in different shows, right? So, different visual design, but they are supposed to be the same entity.
Meanwhile, Proto Zero is the incomplete prototype for Wing Zero, yes? Which Quatre then took and finished building into the Wing Zero? So, in one way, it's not the same machine as (either of) the Wing Zero(es), but since the Proto Zero eventually becomes the Wing Zero anyway, it's still fundamentally the same machine... is that what G-Spring Goddess was thinking?
Kinda makes sense, but.. ugh... then The Glory of Losers manga comes in and wrecks this logic again.
I'm getting a headache now, especially since they are like three different words for "same" in the original, all with tiny differences in nuance ("same one", "same with", "same") that pretty much only matter when one is discussing philosophy. Or math. Or gunpla, I guess.

Iirc WZC and WZ are the same exact unit, just portrayed differently TV vs EW (there's even an EW version of the original Wing), and the OVA acts like they've always looked like that in universe. For game purposes they just renamed the EW versions to "Custom" so it wouldn't be as confusing when upgrading from one to the other in SD G-Gen or SRW.
Wait, they are the same though.
Huh...? Aren't they different though?
Especially the feathers. This Wing Zero and that Wing Zero EW are the same machine.
They are different yet "identical".
Huh...?
Then these two are the same too, right?
This is the Proto Zero. It's not exactly the same thing as the Wing Zero.
