The two versions with one Kobeni looking directly at the camera and one looking away shyly and starting to cry as if responding in real time also supports my original tag. I would also point to the "へんなシチュですね" (what a strange situation) part of the commentary as well which suggests that something meta is going on. While I could buy it as part of her personality, it is never stated or inferred in the manga that Kobeni is opposed to having her picture taken. The artist also replied their own original tweet, "鼻水出させてごめんね、コベニちゃん" (sorry for making your nose run, Kobeni-chan). So I don't think I'm reading too much into it.
