Does anyone have the source for this? I've seen whats on the other page and I doubt this is official art.
@chocobo666 Ianryokou Toujitsu no Yoru 3. It's a weird case honesty. It is a doujin, but it's a doujin that Kajishima Masaki actually took part in making including this picture, some others and I think some story work at the end. He also is on record saying that stuff in his doujin's are canon. Hell, the prequel to War on Geminar takes place in one of doujins he was involved with so we know at least one of them is canon to that timeline. The problem is given the nature of multiple timelines of the Tenchi stuff he could very pulling the classic I consider all fanworks a type of canon argument. Though to be fair, he has only ever said that about Doujins he was directly involved with.

So I guess is it official art... Sort of maybe?
I always refer to stuff like that as "Unofficially Official". Rei Hiroe has also done Doujins and other art that may or may not be official; and I know some Digimon, Gundam, and even Transformers artists who just keep making designs and releasing it online for fans.

Then you have some artists who unabashedly draw "thin-book" doujins of their own work.
