there used to a commercial in asia where the catch phrase was a flight attendant asking "coffee? tea? or meee..." and then she turns into some sort of dessert that i think had both coffee and tea flavours in it or somethign like that lol
Funnily enough, I can't stand coffee or most forms of non-Asian tea (except for Lemon tea with honey/sugar in it). I can take a few kinds of Chinese or Japanese tea, but both of them can't be too strong or else it's too much for my tastebuds.
If Kallen were a kind of tea (she's on the right side of the picture, where the word "tea" is), wouldn't she be a strong blend of Japanese and British tea, which is what her ethnicity is? As strange as that sounds, has anyone here tried mixing those two kinds? Did it taste good?
I'm also driven to wonder which Geass girl would best represent hot chocolate, one of my favourite hot beverages.
I'm not sure I'd like to drink hot chocolate that tastes like her story goes. Warm and sweet all the way from the first sip to the last drop is how I like it--not "sweetly ignorant," to "homicidally angry," to "restrained bitterness" to "repentant acceptance."
I think her skin is pretty much the only thing going for the resemblance.
At least in Kallen's case, both real-life Japanese and real-life British drink lots of tea, though I'm not sure anyone has ever actually mixed the two and somehow made the concoction taste good . . .
