@weebaweebo Please use Saucenow and other tools before uploading to check if the best version of an image is either already available on Danbooru, or from a potentially better source. A share on a random discord community isn't what we're looking for, but rather an actual source from the artist. If you can't find results through that means, it's often possible to find the source by using a reverse image source, by checking for
For instance, on post #4047578, I performed a Google reverse-image search, finding in the "Other Discussions" section of the page, another post which included a comment linking to the original tweet. Upon locating this, using the Danbooru bookmarklet on the tweet, I located the artist's entry, artist #66232. Having checked all their available links it appears the best image is on twitter, so if I wanted to upload from it, I would select that one.
On this post we're on, all I did was use the Saucenow browser tool to see the image is already here on Danbooru, sourced from Pixiv.
Using these tools makes things a lot easier both for you and for other users, as we are archival community, not merely a sharing image board. Thanks for your consideration.
