It's not odd to see American political figures in manga. In the manga Leviathan you see George W. Bush.

Actually that was just a shop of Brad Kid who has blonde hair. Though it is an uncanny resemblance when the hair is turned grey.

Leviathan! Jesus, that was a long time ago since I read it. Has it been completed?

    Sachiko

    Lol!

Do you know that John Omaha also says "Yes, we can!" in the Air Gear manga? It is quite epic.

    Cokecake

I recall Abraham Lincoln in Boku no Pico.

    nirun

I saw Obama-kun and Hilary-chan in Yatterman. IT was epic.

Which is exactly why I would like to know why the fuck Japan has not started drawing some Shaun of the dead? Is the manga not popular?

"Lets we can!" ... Get it right son.

    Bush in Leviathan?
    Clinton in Short Cuts?

In that case, Doraemon IS Ronald Reagan In fursona.

    Blassmonde

    IIRC they both

    get eaten by Chiropterans

    .

    Nilix

Really hope Obama makes it into Mudazumo Naki Keikaku.

    Ixiaz

Not to forget that almost the whole cast of Legend of Koizumi consist of real life politicians.

Not quite. Condoleeza Rice aka 'Bread'

Turns into a Chiropteran and chows down on Archer (the CIA sleeper agent) before getting knocked off the balcony by the Donald Rumsfeld expy's bodyguards, then pimpslapped across the room by Nathan for interrupting his musings and eventually blown up by a not-a-nuke-we-swear.

It's implied the Donald Rumsfeld expy eventually gets toppled from power by Archer, who survived being nommed on.

    Shintear

The funny thing is, this President is actually a bit of a badass in his own right

though not in his own body.

    lavitzlover

Hilariously, there are several references to foreign countries in pretty much everything somewhere or another. Just shows how much we are all connected.

    Yes, lavitzlover. Yes.
