Well, facing it means I'm at least up a tier and it can eat citadels from usn 127 mm AP. Kidd can almost pretty much go "rofl yolo" when up-tiered unless blapped by BB AP superpen.
On a sorta unrelated note, those new super duckies. Not expecting much from that 6 tube, the spread, reload, and detection is probably ridiculously bad.
Edit: Thinking on it a bit more, I probably should be scared. Those 10x100mms will probably cut through Kidd, Lo, and Harekaze like a buzzsaw.
This reminds me of a time when I got Belfast'd while using my Leander. He blew away 90% of my health before I could slink away behind some cover. However, as the match progressed, we both ended up heading east with a mountain range dividing us. I had a lead on him, while my team chased him. I turned back and caught him as he rounded a gap in the terrain.
I scored 8 citadel hits before his guns could even turn to fire. I got him and the Russian cruiser he was sailing with.
I've seen a Marblehead and Fiji (not divisioned) fight two Belfasts (divisioned) and win. Most so-called OP ships tend to be played by utter trash -- only 1/10 Saipans I've seen in the past six months even knew how to strafe. Doesn't mean they're not OP, of course, since there are still average players and even unicums that play them. But it does take the edge off. So when I see OP ships on the enemy team, I don't automatically fall into despair -- I first wait to see if they're not total idiots.

That feel when the enemy Lo is running engine boost or def AA.
They increased the run time of the RN smoker screens a while ago. Dunno if that affected Belfast.
It did. Plus Belfast's got hydro so if the player isn't a complete tunnel-visioning potato they probably won't get nuked by torps while in their own smoke.
This being World of Warships the player probably will be a potato, though.
I have a hard time seeing Gangut lose against a Payfast considering her armor scheme (that is, being HE-proof everywhere but in like three places that are reasonably small) plus the super fast cooldown on damage control.
