To reiterate what someone said on the update from a couple months ago, there's some pretty serious art evolution in this series. Golden Snub-Nose Monkey's torso detail while still having much more clean linework than the start of this series really stands out.
Yup. Compare Alpaca Suri here to these pages. Or even Monkey's First Full-Body Shots to this one. The artist always had the ability to do anatomy pretty well, but it took time for them to do it in the more movement-oriented shots in the main story as opposed to the more static chapter covers. Their backgrounds have also improved.
On another note, from what I remember this is exactly the sort of motion that monkeys will use when jumping from tree to tree, so the artist has also been looking up references on how the animals these characters were originally based on moved. She's even hanging from a tree like one. My memory might be off a bit, but the motions/poses do feel very simian.
