Huh. The ト in admiral is missing the dakuten in this one for some reason.
It's correct, because that's how you pronounce "Admiral" in German, as /atmi'ra:l/. The 'd' is pronounced as an unvoiced /t/.
The katakana form with the dakutenless 「ト」 is also how Bismarck's quotes are transcribed in Japanese. The author probably changed (erroneously) the 「ト」 to 「ド」 in the revision as a form of hypercorrection.
