From what I can tell, only KanColle Arcade has color swaps for the shipgirls 'cause alternate colors are never available in the acutal browser version of the game at all.
Also, poor Kashima. She thought her Lawson "days" were over, now it's like she's getting "promoted" to work there full-time.
Considering the fact that someone actually bought a Kashima Kancolle Arcade card for 220K yens, I wouldn't be surprised if anyone bought one of those Deluxe Kashima figure for a million yens. That 3rd case is so possibly realistic it's terrifying ! 4th case is of course the most important question regarding the artists.
Incidentally, could someone explain to me just what "clear files" are, exactly? I keep seeing the term pop up with regards to various promotions, but what do they actually do?

You probably shouldn't look at how much money people will pay for a F/GO or Fire Emblem Heroes account that has enough 5-star units, then...

They're paper files printed on clear plastic, aren't they? Some version have gimmicks that make them more unique, like a clear file that has a shipgirl's clothes printed on the front, clear cover and her wearing nothing but underwear on the inside. Looking at it normally, you wouldn't know something was off until you pull the front cover away...
Clear (as in made from a translucent material and not cardboard) file (folder).
Literally just a file folder, for storing/moving/organising sheets of paper and whatnot. The clear part just means it's not opaque.
Also it feels like almost every circle threw one in with their summer releases latter year, I've got absolute scads of them.
(EDIT: also just picked up the goods from my local lawson)

Edit 2: Also, you put paper in them for easy organization.
Ahhhh....
You say "clear file", and I presume you mean "a (computer) file used as a marker that you cleared a game", because that's literally the only context in which I've heard that term before this. Who calls a sheet a file, anyway?
It's not a single sheet, it's a collection of sheets (or a box etc); it's where the computer term comes from in the first place (as a computer file is a collection of data)
File box, filing cabinet, file folder, file tray - all relating to bits of paper.

I know where the word comes from, but you only refer to it as a "file" when it's a written document, not an illustrated page, and I've never heard anyone refer to transparent sheets as "clear files".
Ah, it's not a sheet, it's a contraction of 'file folder' , i.e. a thing to put files in. And formally, a 'file' isn't a individual sheet, it's a collection of loose sheets kept together somehow. Such a as in a file folder.
I guess some people are willing to pay 4/5-digits $ for them ?
I don't think the price is interesting so much as the volume of trade that goes on. It's a thriving economy. These account retailers will grow five or six different accounts and sell them at different prices depending on what quality or what kind of servant fantasy they can appeal to. On some English forums I've seen them go for 80$ per account easily. If you sold five in a month at that rate, that is almost enough to live on.
It's enough to where the game company could feasibly benefit from an in game auction hut (if it doesn't already), if it weren't for the fact that third party trading sites already exist.

I remember seeing a FEH account go for about $25,000 on eBay... and it wasn't even a completely insane whale account, either, as it only had about 70 or so 5* units. I haven't seen what the top-grossing FGO accounts go for, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sale of a $100,000 account somewhere. Then there's stuff like this where people spend other people's money to make crazy accounts. You could probably launder a lot of money that way, honestly.
Basically, whenever I want to quit, I can probably sell my F2P account for a serious profit, especially since I haven't actually used any of my blessings yet....
Due to this, the Admiral's meals shall beIt's the 2P colour!for the time being. Your cooperation is appreciated. You'd be able to flog that off for around a million, wouldn't you?Sure is premium, innit. That the possibility exists is terrifying. The question is, what colour are the panties, yes...Might well be the Lawson colours of blue and white stripes.Indeed...Your thoughts, Kashima-san?Please quit it with that sexual harassment. At long last, the Lawson collaboration campaign starts as of tomorrow. One must persevere. Is what I would like it to be, yes.In the collaboration this time, it seems that 22 people can win a Kashima-san Deluxe Figure in the lottery.22 people, huh...
