Maybe it's supposed to have milk? It does say ice cafe latte.
The only coffee that the machines in the convenience stores put out is black; all the additions are in the cup. If you hit the 'ice' option, all it does is account for the ice in the cup, not a different kind of coffee - it doesn't add milk/sugar or anything like the vending-machine types can. It is made from beans ground inside the machine though.
Here, there should be little frozen balls of milk in the cup to make it a latte, but there is not. It's just that the cup has been mislabeled - which would be obvious if you look at the cup before using it.

Well, seems that they upgraded them since I got one... years ago... yeah, that could be why I'm out of the loop on that sort of stuff.
Went and checked out my local conbinis, they've all got milk-dispensers now; but things like mocha and caramel lattes are still the milk-in-cup type, since they're combined with the flavours. Though the regular ice latte cups can have sweetener in them.
