Not certain of Nonna's small-print response in panel 2. It's pronounced "tankohvii shiryemu", and I've figured the first part is likely танковый ("tank/armored"), but my minimal knowledge of Russian and consequently weak Google-fu aren't up to figuring out the rest.
I don't quite get the joke on the first strip. Is the joke supposed to be Nonna thinking on breastfeeding Katyusha? I kind of see the punch line, but I don't get the deliver. I'm confused...
I'll eat it!
Okay!Let's play, then!What's that?
A tank helmet.
танковый шлем/tankoviy shlyemI played so much I got thirsty...I've got tea.Wah! Thanks, Nonna-chan!Katyusha-chaaanKatyusha will use two balls!Katyusha-chan, let's play dodgeball!Feah!Got it!No way! That's not fair!Nonna-chan has all sorts of things so I love her!I'll go get it for our snack. The following day3 against 1 isn't fair!Everyone gets to use one ball, otherwise it's not fair.
Nonna-chan! I wanna eat Chiberia!
Probably mispronouncing "Siberia".This is the superior firepower doctrine, so it's fair!
