Shopping for Christmas food past Christmas is a great way to save food expenses, and if it isn't extremely perishable, the taste won't really differ either. It's a win-win!
It's only sad if she doesn't get anything ON Christmas. But yeah, I totally go out on the 26th to the supermarket and specialty candy stores hoping to snag some 50% off deals on stuff I normally wouldn't get. You find some surprise hits that way.
