Unless I just missed the whole point or something.
I think it is just another standard zounose brand Gensokyo is dark story. Even the Shrine Maiden uses evil peoples souls to make her seals plus lots of symbolism on the color red.
Anyway thanks for finishing the translation, I was looking forward to reading this. BTW there is one text box still untranslated on page 27.

Yeah, there was a word I couldn't figure out, namely 片眉分. Something about eyebrows, no idea. The text box seems to be along the lines of "Just a bit, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders", but it felt like a total guess so I decided not to put it in.
Well the idea i got from this conclusion is that the red paint Marisa and Reimu put on the ofudas is made of really poisonous materials, and, unlike the previous one which destroyed instantly any foes, the new ones might leave horrid after effects, hence the " wait till you see what's coming ".
Gaku Gaku Animal Land translated this page as "Then, look forward to next time!". Both this and that translation have weird dialogue in places, which makes me believe something about the meaning of this entire work got lost in translation, twice.
