Wow... he went all out right away didn't he? I have been watchin' anime/reading manga for 14 years and I have never even wanted to own one of these kind of figurines.

Sometimes whenever you have nothing left but bitterness and hate and emptiness, when you are slammed with something that you truly find fascinating, no matter how much you try to resist, you will be pulled in because of just how empty the rest of your life is. It's pretty analogous to a 'first love' sort of thing where you're unable to resist it, no matter how hard you try. This guy's 'first love' just happened to be a shoujo anime. ^_^

It might also come down to availability; the reason I don't own any Precure merch largely comes down to it not being sold in my country (importing's a thing, yeah, but it's expensive and takes forever, as opposed to walking down to the convenience store). I think the consumer culture in Japan might have something to do with it, too...
Here I am...Do I want it...?... at a convenience store...What the hell...... am I even doing here...?And why...... am I standing in front of this...?Why...... am I staring so hard at the package...??
