Four days after the scan goes up, and Shino posts the electronic version. Of course he does.
But this is the -new- one, to be released at Hourai Gekisen this weekend. Event only, as are all of these (but might appear in a collected volume, as the last few were).
I won't be going, unfortunately (Silver week is the week after).

Still haven't cataloged all my purchases (since it's a good 1.5m stack or so of doujin), but very successful! Turns out that you can take a ferry back from the Big Site - costs about the same as the Yurikamome or the Rinkai, but much, much more pleasant. Which is important when you're suffering from heat exhaustion.
Got about 70% of what I wanted at C90 proper, and another 25% on day 4 - so that's a very successful run.
Oh, almost forgot - at a Kyushu event on the way back, I got to meet ZUN and shake his hand! (and get a photo)

Wow, that really was one hell of a trip I guess. I may have used to know what's the biggest Touhou event in Kyushu, but these days there're so many of them I simply lost track. (I seem to remember Kyu in Kyushu being replaced with ⑨ but I don't think that's the right event)
By the way, does Shino actually sell electronic copies of any of his work? I looked up DLsite, Melonbooks DL and BOOTH but no luck so far.

大⑨州東方祭 is the only general Touhou doujin event that I know of for Kyushu. Don't tend to actually get that one down in Kumamoto, but we get the combined one - 大九州合同祭, which usually has the 西海ノ暁 as part of it. As much as I would love to go the Kitakyushu one (which has 800 circles), it's a good 6 hour's drive (or a $50 in bus far each way), I tend to limit myself to the closer ones - as they tend to be on a Sunday, making the travel time a big issue. I am planning on making the trek to Sasebo again, even though it only has 100 circles, as it's Shigure-focused (and there's a car ferry I can use)
Smaller events are quite nice to go to - I'd even recommend that someone new to the whole doujin event scene start with one of them rather than jumping straight into Comiket (Hourai Gekisen is great for a newbie, but even more focused ones can be good too).
And yeah, Shino doesn't want to do digital as far as I know. Guess I could ask at the next event I see him at?
