This poem right? ăĄăŻăă¶ă ç„代ăèăă ç«ç°ć· ăăăăăȘăă« æ°ŽăăăăšăŻ chihayaburu I don't really know about karuta so i just guessing this one
Thanks for remember me that, despite her clothes are resemblance of old I feel that Karuta School Clubs probably still wear them for traditional reasons.
Chihayafuru (the manga) is centered entirely around Karuta. It was kind of a given, though I suppose you could use any of the 100 poems available instead. (Though you'd only have 50 different ones in play - the other 50 are Dead Cards and unused for that game)
Chihayaburu is apparantly quite catchy and easy to remember, and given it's a 2-syllable card, you'd generally only need to hear the first two syllables to realize which card you should be gunning for. I'm chalking it up to reaction delay as the reason we're hearing the whole three syllables instead of two.
*Spent three afternoons studying Karuta and Chihayafuru for a manga project*
