Since she's a Dungeons & Dragons elf character, what character class is she? Going by 3.5 Edition rules, I'd guess Sorcerer, since she's not wearing armor, wields a spear (the Elf's favored class, Wizard, is only proficient with the club, dagger, heavy crossbow, light crossbow, and quarterstaff; the Sorcerer is proficient with all "simple weapons", which includes the javelin, shortspear, spear, and longspear; neither is proficient with other weapons, nor with any kind of armor or shield; Bards, Clerics, and Druids all have some armor proficiency), and is shown in other pics to use electric magic (there are several Arcane spells, but fewer Divine spells, that use electricity/lightning). If she's not 3.5 or 3rd Edition, though, or depending on character development, I might be wrong. I'm just curious.

Polearm-wielding mage type who mixes in mêlée generally screams "Warlock" in D&D. That said, the 3.5 mêlée Warlock's 'polearm' is usually more like an energy construct instead (Eldritch Glaive), but they are some suboptimal builds that use Hideous Blow in conjunction with a physical mêlée weapon. ('though, as people on char-op boards like to say, Hideous Blow is simply hideous.)
5e makes using a physical weapon far more viable though. She's almost a dead ringer for a Pact of the Blade Warlock, in fact.
