Yeah, about this. The place we went to apparently had air vents (ones designed to take up smoke) that weren't working. It being a small space, the smoke filled the room easily and apparently got into my eyes. I also thought I was sleepy and kept rubbing my eyes to stay awake until Warugaki asked if I was okay and someone pointed out how red and puffy my eyes were. It got better once I started hydrating my eyes with the wet towelette.
I did try to keep up with the conversation as best as I could by listening, but speaking is beyond me apart from a few phrases. It was fun overall.
I remember as a kid when it was allowed here in the states but it's been banned all my adult life. Took me a moment to even remember that might be an issue in other countries because it's just not something you think about here any more.
We were talking with some interpretation in-between, but...A while after entering the bar..Is he sleepy? Maybe he is terribly bored...?Nietz is advising him on something...Rukaroa is not getting to speak too much...Ugh... that's bad... To include me, most of the conversation has been in Japanese...He's getting up, it seems... Is he withdrawing from the frontlines...!?※But I'm also hopeless at foreseeing these kinds of circumstances.Apparently he went to wash his eyes at the toilet. In most American bars and restaurants, smoking is not allowed, so they are not used to the smoke...It's for stuff like this※ that I should have learned at least some English conversation skills.Ah... Rukaroa is always rubbing his eyes..Ah, when I take a good look, his eyes are deep red!?
