It's nice to see Hoppo-chan again, now getting along with the Akatsuki Gang, no less! It's also cute to see that Miss “Proper Lady” has opted for a warrior's sword and shield while playing.
I guess it's been touched upon, but is Tsu-class the Abyssal Yahagi? The reactions of her two sister-ships (in the next page) seem to hint at this.
I ask this because the last time we saw her was in the first doujin, where she was a being held as a prisoner/prize drop in the Ironbottom Sound. If Yahagi was never “rescued”, and ended up believing she'd been abandoned, then would her eventual despair trigger her transformation into an Abyssal?
That might seem dark, but there are a number of theories involving existing Abyssals: Such as Ta-class and Ru-class having previously been Fuso and Yamashiro, or that Midway and AC Oni were the previous Akagi and Kaga, or dialogue from Seaport Hime and Anchorage Water Hime.
They're at a higher level of chuuni than you, Isolated Island Oni. But I am surprised by how well those oversized powerfists lend themselves to the game they're playing.
We talking this doujin only, or fanon in general? If it's just this doujin, Tsu-class is whoever minarai wants her to be, particularly with that helmet on that I've never seen taken off except that one pic by minarai. Judging by hairstyle alone, I'd say she is Yahagi, which will probably be confirmed by next page (whenever that's uploaded since it's not here at the time of writing).
Same also goes for general Abyssals. If you're just talking about this doujin only, then their origins is whatever minarai wants them to be, such as despair perhaps, but I don't remember hints of such implications in his works, considering Kaga/AC Hime and Akagi/Midway exist at the same time, thus cannot be each other...theoretically.
From main fanon though, some of the boss class Abyssals are seen as corrupted Fleet Girls due to similar appearance, the biggest and most obvious example being Destroyer Princess/Warusame. Some non-boss class Abyssals also count, like Re being Ikazuchi, or Ne being Suzuya. As for how they corrupt, that varies, but it's usually caused by the Fleet Girl sinking, instead of just turning from despair alone.

Gamewise, isn't the majority betting on Tsu being an USS ATlanta? mainly cause of the good Anti Air (a good 30 above what Yahagi brings)

It's also a cruiser loaded completely with Dual Mount 5" guns. Only ships that fits that are the Atlanta (and Oakland subclass) and Juneau class
