What's the upside of this image? What makes it stand out next to any other image of Sanae? It's small, simple, basically shaded, has simple linework and basic anatomy including a very simple face with eyes a bit large, and is artifacted due to being a JPEG from Twitter.
There's nothing to particularly dislike about the image; I find little to be revolted by in it. But, I'm also not motivated to put my name next to its approval.

Wow, since when was this site so uptight about quality?
Something is wrong the mods this days... Something is wrong.
Think about the line that approvers have to walk here. There is no middle of the road where everyone is happy. You have some approvers that approve "too much" that are harassed for "filling the site with trash." You have the others who "have too high standards" that "are too uptight" and "don't save 'good' art." No matter which side one's on, they'll be moaned and groaned about by their specific detractors.
This is why we don't have one person making all the decisions, both for what images are approved and for what rules of the site should be. Everyone can hop on the forum and voice their praises, their complaints, and best of all, their solutions. For now, I'll stick to the latter side of the line because that's just how I like to operate. If that doesn't end up jiving with the way the site is flowing, my Approver flag can always be removed, and I won't begrudge it.
As a side thought that I couldn't think of a place to fit in, I had all those reasons to personally not approve it, but someone else did. You won't find me flagging it because the post doesn't break the rules and isn't horrible. It's below my standards and not below someone else's, and that's not a bad thing. That's what makes this site work, so long as it's in at least decent balance.

I had the same thing as well. There are a lot of artwork in twitter that is NEVER being upload at all in pixiv. I've seen several artist doing that.
My aim is to ensure that those artwork will be preserve in here before the artist deletes it or his account disappears. It is just the mods are becoming way to stricter now as if they had anathema on any image in twitter even it is made by a well known artist.

At least we're on the same page on the mods and uploading art from Twitter, man.
