I'm using online dictionary to search 好感 but the result are "good feeling". It also direct me to 交換 which has the same reading "koukan", which mean "exchange". The latter seems more fitting so I use it.

Is it typo or intentional?
It's the same reading so online dictionaries might get sent off some-god-knows-where. But I believe you were just shown to some reference since IME, which is largely used, can have several words under one single reading.
