American fast food burgers today (note that doesn't include "restaurant" made-by-an-actual-cook burgers) are far too small for me to even fit two hands on, so I match Musashi.
Given a full-sized burger, they don't tend to be wrapped, so then Nagato's technique to keep the innards in if the skewer fails. With lots of napkins at the ready.
Oh come on. They gave me one on a plate after heating it up in the microwave for like, 5 minutes at maximum output, and I'm not good with hot stuff. How could I hold it by hand? Another reason was, that time I didn't know what a hamburger is. Different now though.

Didn't have much of a choice back then. I was just taken out for breakfast and sadly, the one taking me out (paying too) had a feel for burgers back then. Though, a month later, I was able to get myself some other kind of breakfast so I got away from that kind of cheap, hot and seriously bad burgers.
