Well, usually at home we say "Aiya" like "oh crap!", like "Aiya, I forgot the food in the oven" and rushing to the kitchen to get it out(but without a real sense of panic, more like "damn, I made a mistake by being air-headed"), but it doesn't feel right here... The elders usually use it to tell us to take it easy like Akagi too, but they look like less polite, somehow like "oh god, please don't do anything and just sit down, you're my guest after all!" while rushing to take over what we're doing and all.
Both aren't suited to Akagi's expression though... This "Oh my" is closer to how she's reacting.

i use aiya a lot in my household too, although the hard part of translating it is kinda hard given how versatile it is. also the tone needs to be taken into consideration and all, which im bad at
