I might never get this american world view, where slightly suggestive themes are viewed as something terrible, while gore and physical abuse is "questionable"...
Is this going to be it? The post where we decide the rating system isn't good, and we come up with a 2 way system; One for sexual and one for guro. Like how pixiv has 2 tags: Explicit content (R-18)and Ero-guro content (R-18G)

it is american R-18:) i mean, check the difference between ESRB and PEGI. It is american "thing" - to count sex as something even adults must be shielded from. Then, rules of danbooru state that every visitor of danbooru is 18+, and that they must be ok with some torture and gore, but somehow not ok with some sex... i reeeeealy don't get it.

You know that always ticked me off. Sex is ok. It's normal. As long as violence, or weird bodily fluids aren't involved then it's something all adults eventually get accustomed to.
Violence and gore on the other hand, it might be something they show on daytime tv, on Animal Planet but, most people don't get to see other people mangled in real life. And I personally think it leaves a bigger impact on people. Kids especially, but even on adults.

At some point Danbooru needed to draw the line and this is how they drew it. Unless you want to create half a dozen Danbooru clones with slightly different rating rules, it can't be helped.
Guys, you're making a big fuss over nothing. This hasn't got anything to do with the "American view" of sex and gore and whatnot, it's just a way to categorize posts according to their content so it's easier for people to find what they want.
Ratings are supposed to be about sexual content, and not whether something is SFW, NSFW, or depicts graphic violence. This way you can even distinguish between things like sexually explicit gore (rating:e guro) and non-sexually explicit gore (rating:s guro), which you wouldn't be able to do if you just lumped it all under "explicit".
I agree that the current system is perhaps a bit unintuitive, but it's worked so far. If you can think of a way to improve it, then you can post your suggestions in the forum.

No they are not. They are supposed to shield viewers from content unappropriate to their age. And since danbooru is by diffinition 18+, it was just arbitrary decision to call sexial content indicator just "Rating". It's not like i want to change this on danbooru. I just find it strange. And funny to some extent.
Agreed.. The violence and guro tags aren't occasionally rated safe because of notions that "Americans shrug to violence but condemn drugs and sex", although that is a hot topic nowadays.

Анон, объяни мне, как им может нравиться такая хуита. Я, блять, могу понять, как может возбуждать изнасилование, как заводят плётка и латекс, но эта?
Extremely late to the party but this was the original cover art for the EP すごいきもちいい 〜Feeling Mega-Good!〜 by DJ Tehcnorch. Pretty good little EP if I do say so myself, Technorch is no stranger to weird/body horror cover art (see Boss On Parade Remixes, I WANNA BE A HAPPY and 中 〜CENTRISM〜) but this one really takes the cake in terms of sheer explicit brutality. Seems others agreed because it was straight up banned from being sold at some stores and had to be heavily censored for digital releases. April 2015 there was a reissue of it, exact same tracklisting down to the stems for the songs that were included but with new cover art. A more cartoony art style and kinda gross subject matter involving slugs, officially named: すごいきもちいい マイルド 〜Feeling Mega Little-Good!〜
Kinda a weird place to plug his music but if you're into weird rave music give Technorch a go! He's got a solid catalog and has done some fantastic collaborations with various artists
