Looks like the Touhous are not amused by the sexualization of the new sensation on the block.
They should take a look at their own series. Since the canon doesn't exist to the fanbase and touhous are pretty much just portrayed as crack whores with overly exaggerated proportions. Pretty sure they should be concerned with that rather than a mini shirt.

"Canon" is what one makes of it and there are plenty of non-h depictions and fans who disagree with the assertion that it should be sexualized. Canon, though, holds that characters aren't sexual at all, in attitude, design, or story. You can count on one, maybe one and a half hands the number of times Touhou is at all officially sexualized, fetishized, etc. and most examples one would be able to come up with are stretches. This is in contrast to Shimakaze which is obvious pandering and a blatant as fuck sexualization in her official depiction.
Are you new to the Internet? Because this kind of thing happens on a daily basis (if not hourly).
'Happens on a daily basis' and trying to figure out why it happens are 2 completely different things. It happens probably every second somewhere, but trying to get around to figuring out why such pointless debates happen is an unexplainable phenomena.

I think the reason behind all those arguments and stuffs is that people are being people, and people can't accept other people, and finally people want to prove that other people are right or wrong, and end up fighting other people ... But then again, it's people nature to act like that, so I think there's no point trying to figure it out more
