I find it suspicious that Mokou isn't actually shown at the end. I think Kaguya may have simply gone insane and is hallucinating.
Mmm... I doubt it. That might be the case if there wasn't one little detail a few pages back: Mokou's first words were clearly in a speech bubble pointing to outside the frame. Sure the rest had no direction marker, but that one bubble indicates that there was someone there in that direction.
From my esperienza of reading fumetti and romanzo. When an autore want to describe a character going insane from loneliness, that character need to went though a long period of time without their amante before going completely pazzo. But according to previous posts, Kaguya "meet" Mokou only minutes after she thought Mokou is dead (cause of the skeletal arm, which is indeed Mokou's). The thing people talk about, not showing Mokou's face, indicate that Kaguya went impazzito and started to hallucinating. I think it's because Ichikai want to express Kaguya's surprise, then happiness though 3 pages of her crying her heart out.

Not to mention that Kaguya was holding Mokou's skeletal hand, which shouldn't have been possible.
Forse, Mokou is still regenerating and still haven't reconnect her arm to her body?
