The heat was intense this summer, so I couldn't endure a car interior with no A/C. I mean, gimme a break—it was over 36˚C (96.8˚F) for days on end. :-) We were going back to Kōchi on the 19th, so things looked hopeless at this point.
Reader-added tags include "No moooore!", "Car air conditioner (heater only)", and "Vent window: 'This looks like a job for me!'"
The survey needs a way to beat the heat:
What should I do at times like this? • Gulp down some juice • Open all the windows • Take off clothing • Bear with it • Buy a new car
I gotta say I'm disappointed in that pool. At first, it something like "daily fuck-my-life moments", and now it's just the author telling his own problems.

It's not that bad. I prefer that slice-of-life approach rather than the author talking always about food and how her wife rarely cooks (if you look for the word "SA" -Service Areas- in this comic you'll know what I'm talking about).

Personally, I would enjoy it a lot more if it were generic slice-of-life instead of author's slice-of-life. I feel like I'm reading something that doesn't have anything to do with Touhou anymore.

The opening line to every Pixiv description (which I admittedly omit, since it's the same every time), is "This is a diary manga in which I try to draw the projection of my daily activities on Kogasa-san." The key phrase is "diary manga". It's been that way essentially from the beginning, a slice-of-life with Touhou characters used as stand-ins for real people. Occasionally, Touhou game mechanics or in-joke character aspects are used to fictionalize and spice up the humor a bit. Actual Touhou-based projects sometimes appear in strips about conventions. All in all, the strip has no more or less to do with Touhou now than when it started. Sorry to hear it doesn't appeal to you, but the strip was never meant to be anything else.

This is like asking Warugaki to draw his report mangas without resorting to stand-ins. Besides, Mizuki does use and/or exploit the canon and fanon traits of his stand-in choices so this manga is even more Touhou related than Warugaki's reports.

One doesn't have to love something with all your heart and be utterly slavish in praise of a piece of work to still enjoy reading it and wishing that it'd be different in some ways.

It's been more or less this way from the start though...
