Nagae Iku-Turso is single entity in my headcanon now. When finnish people stopped believing in their Native Faith (I have waited too eagerly to use that phrase) Iku moved to Gensokyo and adapted to its standards.
Wikipedia TL;DR: Iku-Turso is said to be child of finnish God of Thunder...
First time I glanced at the image I thought setz had just photoshopped Rosa's Iku-Turso in. That's how good his rendition is. (Yeah, probably copied from model but still epic.)
Should we make tags for Kalevala and/or Don Rosa? Also, should we add disney tag?
Hell, should I just open up my copy of Quest for Kalevala to just tag everyone on those pages? I can make out at least Donald, VÀinÀmöinen, and Louhi from this pic, and if memory serves, Scrooge, Magica de Spell, and the nephews starred the scene, too.

Or would that be just a bit overzealous tagging?
I'd say tag the Kalevala, Don Rosa, and Disney. Tagging DD et al., while funny, is pointless given that they're just blobs of colour here.
...or never mind... Only Finns would be exited of that and the total Finnish population is lesser than the amount in London alone... and spread in surface area greater than England... and then there is the math for the actual number of "nerds" in the nation... Don't think any mangaka would want that few fans...
...but oh well... ...I do have thought to make a "doujin-game" to honor ZUN with name like "Touhou Project - MetsÀnpeitto."
What is "MetsÀnpeitto?" For starers, it is translated as something like "Blanket of Forest" or "Forest cover."
The short version explained in English would found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mets%C3%A4npeitto ...and for some note, I wouldn't call "Maahinens" as "gnomes" as there are "forest gnomes" ("MetsÀnhaltijat") in Folktales for those who live in forests, and Maahinens are more of something called "Folk of the Earth" who live underground and in the ant nests.
