So the anime just blew through 13 novels of material to get to the ending already?
It's honestly something you have to expect for non-shounen series. Look at how long visual novels take. Putting the ending aside, even if it's just the canon ending, most get "Compressed" into 13 episodes. But light novels? Good luck with that.

Come on though, we get 4 seasons of Zero no Tsukaima...why not atleast 3 seasons of this?

ZnT is a still ongoing series with lots of novels to make multiple seasons out of it. OreImo only has 13 books total, and even had the anime not skipped around as much as it had, 2 sasons was about the best we were gonna get out of it
This kinda of series just isn't very marketable and that's the cold harsh truth. If you truely love the series, then read the books/originals.
Same goes for visual novels and mangas. Anime's need to be marketable to offset the cost to make them. Hell, even Fate stay/night, a series doing very well for itself had to change it's main protagonist just because "OMG the main character has a vagina!" that would make it not marketable and the team was desperate to actually feed themselves.
