Alfredo Stroessner has the same birthday as Emperor Meiji (November 3rd) and the year he’s born is the same as the year of the Emperor’s burial (1912).
If the commentary is to be believed… There are many countries inspired by Japan’s rise to power, but Alfredo is quite the obsessed one. Added with that factor above, he seems to consider himself reincarnation of the Emperor ^^;; On 1959, he also arranged the immigration of Japanese into Paraguay.
But overall, I’m getting quite skeptic about the commentaries in these illustrations and really need a citable external source.
