Just as Ranned?

Reader-added tags include "Yuyuko: 'Gain weight, Kogasa-san'", "Ran: 'Just as planned'", and "The ability to give in to temptation".
The survey's still stuck on what to eat:
"Fatty tuna (toro) battleship" is a roll sushi that's flattened into an oblong shape, so it looks a bit like a boat if viewed from above.

Just as funded...

Never had raw sea urchin before, so I'd love to try that sometime. However, looking at that list, I might end up skipping over to the strawberry sherbet first! (lol)
Gah!
Food Porn indeed.

Can't complain with free food.

Isn't stuff like raw shellfish or raw fish rather dangerous to eat, what with all the parasites and possibility of food poisoning?
Genichiro
Alright, food porn! Looks like the restaurant did not fail to disappoint. Leave it to the magnificent Yuyuko-sama to allow for Kogasa-san and Sanae-san to get to enjoy it. Mizuki-san is right, if you're in the restaurant, you may as well eat.
For the poll, I'd love to try sea urchin, though blood clam sushi sounds interesting, too.
Only if it's not prepared properly.

The food industry has standards like any other, plus even if there was the extra risk, the reward really is worth it. Seafood, for the most part, is awesome
Tetsamaru
Common misconception about the "Raw"ness of Sushi. It may not be cooked, but it still needs to be "Prepared". This does involve cleaning it and other things. So its not like they literally fished out one from the ocean and just put it on a plate and serve you.

Wouldn't that more be food for a couple expecting to have romantic activities that evening? Or am I thinking oysters?
Skyknight
@Ithekro: Actually, sea urchin is itself thought of as an aphrodisiac in Japan. It may help that the portion of the urchin eaten is actually its reproductive organs...

Here in the states at least there are different grades of sushi which have to have been through stages of prep. If I remember correctly from the classes we had to take, the fish has to be stored in freezers that are at least like minus 30 below for over 14 days or something like that. I can't remember the specific details, but there are plenty of regulations to keep people safe.
On a side note, are you gonna ask that question every time sushi is mentioned? lol
