Yeah, I'm not sure whether to "translate" their names, or leave it phonetical, so I'll just leave it like this for now.

I'm not sure if it's the hair color or something, but when I saw the first Ginru was "Ei" I thought of Eirin.

Keep it phonetic, I'd say. If the artist had just put the letter/number down, then you'd go with the 123/ABC method.

Never bothered to count, but it seems there really are just six of them.

Also, I believe the one Ran brought home is 'B'.

Well, I consider only one a week to be fairly "infrequent", although that's subjective, I know.

I'd say phonetical + translation note will suffice.
